| DAY
01 : ARRIVAL AT LEH |
|
Arrival Leh by morning flight and
transfer to the hotel. After welcome drink take a complete rest for
acclimatization to the height altitude of Leh (3500 mtrs). In the late
afternoon drive to the city for an orientation walk in the markets,
followed by a visit to Shanti Stupa, Leh palace and Sankar monastery.
Dinner and overnight in Hotel.

| DAY
02: LEH-ALCHI-NIMMU-MAGNETIC HILL - LEH |
| The morning is
at leisure for adjustment with the high altitude and rarefied air of
Ladakh. After leisurely breakfast, drive to the 11th century, the Alchi
Choskor, the oldest surviving monastic complex of the region and famous
for its painting and architecture. After sightseeing and lunch here,
drive back to Leh, en-route visiting Magnetic point, Gurudwara Pather
Sahib, the 'Temple of Guardians' (Gon-kahng) in Spituk monastery, which
is revered by Hindu devotees as Kali-Mandir, and the Hall of Fame.

| DAY
03 : LEH-PANGONG LEKE |
| Early
departure for Pangong Lake (Approx 300 kms round trip) via Changle pass
(alt. 17380). Pangong lake (alt. 14500ft) is 4-5 kms wide and over 135
kms long, about two-third of which the late afternoon drive back for 30
kms to Tsangse village and check into Hotel/Camp for dinner and
overnight stay. |

DAY 04 : PANGONG LAKEK – HEMIS- THIKSEY & SHEY PALACE- LEH |
| Leave Tangtse
after breakfast and retrace the road to Leh across the Changla Pass.
Upon reaching Karu, drive across the Indus and visit Hemis Monastery,
the biggest and most famous monastery of Ladakh, and then return to the
highway for onward journey to Leh, en-route visiting Thiksey Monastery.
Dinner and overnight at the Hotel. |

DAY 05 : LEH-KHARDUNGLA PASS - NUBRA (120 km) |
| After
breakfast drive into the Nubra Valley via Khardungla Pass, the highest
motorable mountain pass in the world at a height of about 18,380 Ft.
Enjoy unbelievable but true spectacular views of the Himalayas .Arrive
Hunder where you can enjoy the bauble hump camel ride. Overnight at
Camp. |

DAT 06 : NUBRA-LEH |
| After
breakfast visit the Deskit monastery. The Gompa is about 350 yrs old
and is the biggest of its kind in the Nubra Valley. Return to Leh by
the evening. Rest of the time visit Shanti Stupa and Tsemo Castle.

DAY 07: LEH DEPARTURE |
| Early morning
transfer to Airport for taking the fight for onwards journey. |
